History and Purpose

 

Since the Christian Mission Centers opened in 1983, it has maintained an intensive ministry for broken and hurting people.  While meeting the immediate needs of food, clothing and shelter, the Mission has offered eternal hope and healing through a personal relationship with God through the Lord Jesus Christ.

 

As part of our mission of sharing Jesus Christ and His healing power, New Life Recovery Ministry began in 1998.  We opened this program because of substance abuse problems in the lives of so many of our clients.  The goal of the New Life Recovery Ministry is the restoration and healing of the participants, through Christ-centered teaching and counseling.

 

The New Life Recovery Ministry staff and students appreciate the support of the Wiregrass community.  Foremost, we need the people of God to pray for this entire endeavor.   Pray for the students, the counselors, and the finances needed to sustain this program.  Also, pray for God to bless us with his wisdom and protection.  Please refer those who are struggling to overcome addiction to the New Life Recovery Ministry today.
